DSB 4
Model DSB 4 is a fully hydraulically operated rotary drilling rig equipped with the worldwide patented NORDMEYER round drilling mast with built-in hydraulic drill feed. By means of special cable arrangements (2-fold or 4-fold cable pull) the hydr. powerhead and the drill string can be pulled up to the max. hook load to achieve higher pulling forces. The high pull on the powerhead allows for relatively big weight of drill collars granting a centrical pull-down on the drill bit and a pressure relief on the drill string, the most favourable conditions for safe and quick vertical drilling.

by sampler BPE, drive sampler RKR or cable guided pneumatic hammer
- Rotary core drilling
by single tube, double tube or wire line core barrel
- Direct rotary flush drilling
up to borehole dia. 17 ½" = 445 mm
- Reverse circulation drilling
with suction pump or air lift drilling with compressor up to borehole dia. 1400 mm in front of the mast
